I have lived in more places than I once expected. This is a short map of them.
I was born in Beijing 北京, the capital of China, and spent the first eleven years of my life there. My family then moved to Vancouver, a city I still feel closely tied to. I studied there until I was eighteen, and my family still lives in Vancouver today.
From there I went east to Montreal, where I spent the next four years at McGill University. In my twenty-third year I took a gap year, then moved to the greater Boston area — Cambridge, Massachusetts — to study at MIT. After graduating I went to New York City for work. I have since moved back to Boston to work at Wayfair.
