Weien (Barry) Li
I work on multimodal retrieval, agent evaluation, and a secret area :).
I received my B.Sc. in Computer Science from McGill University in 2023, and a Master of Business Analytics from MIT in 2025.
During my studies I held several research assistantships at both MIT and McGill. I was a Forward Deployed Engineer and a Data Scientist at Invisible Technologies. I am now a Machine Learning Scientist at Wayfair.
Recent papers include MINER on multimodal retrieval, QUACK (EMNLP 2026 Main) on grounding in social-deduction agents, CARE (EMNLP 2026 Findings) on privacy-compliant clinical reasoning, and a survey of discrete diffusion models.
